See how much fun you could have?
A few brave souls traveled to San Mateo to meet up at Suzy's house and drunken fun was had by all. Who's house is next?? See the results at: http://web.mac.com/davidjst/iWeb/Suzy/Photos.html

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Just a note to say Happy Thanksgiving to all the Fired Birds out there. Hope all is well. Are we on for next Saturday (not this one) at Suzy's house?

Does anyone WANT to get together this weekend?
If so, I have a suggestion on where we might have an impromtu gathering - Saturday early evening? Somewhere near the San Mateo bridge might work, that's about mid-way for most. Post a comment and I'll figure out some details. In the meantime, I'm helping Suzy with her floor...

Gathering of Cool People
Suzy had mentioned that she wanted to have people over the weekend before Thanksgiving but due to a plumbing problem that resulted in her kitchen floor being removed, she's opting to host the cool people, the first weekend of December. A holiday gathering of sorts, although she didn't promise any sort of caroling or cider...or decorations for that matter.
Hope you all can make it.
Hope you all can make it.

Peter Ohno Checks In
Peter Ohno, former Wizard-of-All-Things-Printed at Phoenix (and bane of Sara's existence) , now works for Cisco, home of the Human Network. A mere 6 blocks (or so) from Phoenix, he now enjoys free microwave popcorn and all the soda, juice, or water he can drink. No more digging in the pockets for $0.65 for a Diet Pepsi! Other than that, it's quiet but secure.
When Posting to This Blog
Please leave your name, if you can. We're allowing anonymous posts but it's always good to see who checks in. Thanks!
Congratulations to Koka!
Our fearless salesman Koka Sexton (who now has two mentions in this blog) will be starting a job at NetSuite in San Mateo next week.
Also, the PR and Marketing departments' perky intern Regina Warren will be starting a job with a marketing firm in Pleasanton at the end of the month!
Keep us up on your whearabouts so we can post them here!

WELCOME!
It's so great that you're here!
Over lunch today, a few ex-phoenicians thought that it would be funny to have a place where we could bring up random topics related to our lives at Phoenix. "Hey, let's start a Blog!" Seeing as Koka Sexton (see: kokasexton.com) has garnered worldwide praise and admiration for his blog, I thought..., it's worth a try.
The actual conversation that started this line of thinking was "if there were a reality television show about Phoenix, what actors would play what 'characters?" Erin Daly quickly pointed out that Brian Dennehey (http://www.hollywood.com/celebs/detail/id/194756) would have to play Dave Gibbs. Who would you choose for your favorite Phoenix character?
